IMU CET referred as Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test. Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is an all India online common entrance tests which are managed by the Indian Maritime University. IMU CET is conducted to get admission into undergraduate & postgraduate courses in the area of marine. The Indian Maritime University provides educational courses relating to the maritime sector. The Indian Maritime University came into being through an Act of Parliament (Act 22) on 14th November 2008 as a Central University and is poised to play a key role in the development of trained human resource for the maritime sector. 14th November is celebrated as 'IMU Day' every year. Headquarter of Indian Maritime University is in Chennai.
