AMU or Aligarh Muslim University is an Indian public central university. It was established in 1875 by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan as Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College. In 1920 The Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College became Aligarh Muslim University. The main campus of AMU is the Aligarh city. AMU offers more than 300 courses for the education. The campus of Aligarh Muslim University spread over 467.6 hectares. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is the University which have 12 faculties namely Agricultural Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Engineering & Technology, Law, Life Sciences, Medicine, Management Studies & Research, Science, Social Sciences, Theology and Unani Medicine. AMU invites separate application form for each course. AMU Admission is strictly based on candidate’s performance in entrance test. MBBS/BDS admission in AMU will be done on the basis of NEET Scores.
