NIFT stands for National Institute of Fashion Technology, it organizes the exam for admissions in Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech) and Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program.
There are 2,370 seats (can vary) for both the courses for the student who will be qualified in NIFT exams.
NIFT has 16 Institute around India, like in Kolkata, Kannur, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Chennai etc.

In Bachelor's program, the question paper is divided into the General Ability Test (GAT), Creative Ability Test (CAT) and Situation Test. GAT 50%, CAT 30% and situation test 20%.
In the Master's program, the question paper is divided into GAT, CAT and Group Discussion or Personal Interview. GAT 40%, CAT 40%, and group discussion or personal interview 30%.
