Pakistan and China have consented to an arrangement for development of Azad Pattan Hydel Power Project in Sudhoti region of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The venture is being created under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), at an expected expense of $1.5 billion. The 700.7 MW Azad Pattan Hydel Power Project is found at River Jhelum and is required to be finished in 2026.
